Description:

As a Mechanical Installation Technician, you are part of the Installation Team and report to the Head of the Assembly Department. You work in a team of several Mechanical Installation Technicians and are responsible for the complete mechanical installation of the diesel generator.

Responsibilities:

• You bring the diesel generator into the room using a crane, transport trolleys, and jacks.

• Je hangen provides the necessary fixings depending on the installation, such as exhaust silencers, mufflers, air ducts, etc.

• You install fuel lines; these can be welded or crimped.

• You install exhaust hoods with a click system or stainless steel tubes.

• You mount spacer coolers with the associated tube array.

• You ensure a neat and tidy finish of the installation.

Profile:

• You have technical insight

• Several years of experience as a Technician is certainly an asset.

• You speak fluent Dutch, and French is a plus.

• You have a TIG welding diploma or equivalent through experience.

• MIG/MAG welding (semi-automatic)

• Forklift driver's license

• Aerial work platform certificate

• VCA certificate (basic or full)
